    ermmm tbhh im not really sure eitherrr.
    but i was reading it again the othe day & didn’t it say something about
    jasper playing chess with emmett, i know that doesn’t help
    but, maybe it has something to do with that ?

    The cover being a chess piece “The queen” is symbolic of Bella rising from being the weakest to becoming the strongest of them all.

    Breaking Dawn’s cover is a metaphor for Bella’s progression throughout the entire saga. She began as the weakest (at least physically, when compared to vampires and werewolves) player on the board: the pawn. She ended as the strongest: the queen. In the end, it’s Bella that brings about the win for the Cullens.

    the red piece is a pawn i think and its suppose to represent human bella , weak and red (because she blushes)
    and the white queen is representing bella after she is changed you know strong and pale white :)
    i think anyway
